The best time for the 8 Days Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan Tour with Rafting Adventure is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. Here’s why:

Spring (March to May):

  • The weather is pleasant and warm, making it ideal for outdoor activities like sightseeing, rafting, and jungle safaris.
  • The skies are generally clear, offering great views of the Himalayas from Sarangkot and Nagarkot.
  • This is also the season when Nepal’s famous rhododendrons are in full bloom, adding vibrant colors to the landscapes, especially in places like Pokhara and Nagarkot.

Autumn (September to November):

  • After the monsoon rains, the weather is fresh and cool, with clear skies perfect for mountain views and outdoor adventures.
  • Rafting on the Seti River is thrilling during this time, as the water levels are stable and safe.
  • It’s an excellent time for wildlife safaris in Chitwan, as animals are more active, and visibility in the jungle is better.
  • The temperatures are moderate, making it comfortable for both city tours and nature excursions.

These two seasons are considered the peak times to visit Nepal because of the favorable weather and stunning scenery. Winter (December to February) can be a good alternative if you don’t mind cooler temperatures, but rafting and outdoor activities might be limited. Monsoon (June to August) brings heavy rainfall, making some activities like rafting challenging, and the views might be obstructed due to cloud cover. However, the monsoon can also be a unique time to visit for those interested in lush, green landscapes.
