TIPPING

Tips are appreciated by your support team after the trip. Tips are not mandatory in Nepal but recommended. The amount depends on your budget and appreciation of their work. Where restaurant meals are involved, the tipping is usually 10% of the bill. We would like to request all travelers to give tips separately for driver & guide. Our suggestion is US$ 5 per day by per tourist to driver if same driver is there for whole trip & US$ 10 per day to guide.

VISA

All visitors except the Indian nationals must hold passport and valid visa. Visa can be obtained at the Nepalese diplomatic missions and consulates abroad. Visa is also issued at the entry points. It can be extended at the Department of Immigration, Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Children under 10 years need not pay any visa fee. People willing to get entry Visa at the airport or any of the land entry points are required to fill a visa form with passport photograph. * Visa extension fee for 15 days or less is US $ 45 or equivalent convertible currency and visa extension fee for more than 15 days is US$ 3 per day. 5 USD per day as late fine in the case of delay

* Tourist visa can be extended for a maximum period of 150 days in a single visa year (January – December).

Gratis Visa is issued free of cost in case of following categories of Visa applicants:

Children below 10 years (except US citizens)

Up to 30 days for SAARC Citizen (except Afghanistan) visiting Nepal for the first time in a given visa year.  Afghan citizens are eligible for Gratis Visa on Arrival only upon the recommendation of Department of Immigration. If you are an Afghan citizen, you can request concerned institution inviting you to Nepal for necessary paperwork with Department of Immigration to get you Gratis Visa ‘On Arrival’.

Chinese Nationals

Diplomatic/Official passport holders for diplomatic/official visits

The following documents are required to proceed with a Bhutan visa:

  1. A digital copy of a valid passport
  2. A recent digital passport-sized photo
  3. Valid travel insurance for the duration of your trip

PASSPORT AND VISAS:

You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for six months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip; please refer to the Trip Notes for details. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Your booking will be confirmed by email once we receive your deposit of 40% of total trip cost & the balance 60% of total trip cost after on arrival in Kathmandu.

CANCELATION

In case of cancellation by the Traveller, the Agency has the right to charge a percentage cancellation fee according to the following scale:

Up to 30 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 20%
15-29 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 30%
7-14 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 60%
6 or less days until the “Trip Start Day” and in the event of non-appearance a fees of 90%
For trip postpone, we will not take any charges
