On arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Destination Nepal Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city on your own or relax at your hotel.

After breakfast, full day sightseeing tour of Changunarayan temple & Bhaktapur durbar square
Changunarayan temple is said to be the oldest Hindu temple still in use in the Kathmandu Valley. Bhaktapur, Durbar Square, a well preserved fine UNESCO world heritage site where you will witness the 55-window palace, the Golden Gate, Nyatapole temple, stone temple and many more.
Proceed to Nagarkot. After getting refreshed, self walk around the villages to witness day to day life of Nepalese villagers. Enjoy a sunset with full eastern Himalayan mountain ranges including the world’s highest peak- Mount Everest, weather permitting of course.

One of the oldest towns in Nepal, Panauti offers a poignant look at the passage of time. The Old Bazaar, the remains of an ordered and prosperous medieval city that would have been a wonder to behold in its heyday. Dhulikhel is justly famous as a well-preserved Newar town, mountain viewpoint, and hiking and biking hub, but its popularity is waning as road-building and modernization take their toll. Located 5km east of Banepa, just beyond the Kathmandu Valley rim, it sits in a saddle at the relatively low elevation of 1550m, which makes it warmer than Nagarkot.

After breakfast, Drive to Kathmandu, full day sightseeing tour of Namo Buddha, Boudhanath stupa & Pashupatinath temple
Namo Buddha is better known by Tibetans as Tag-mo Lu-jin. This means the place where the Buddha offered his body to the hungry mother tigress. There are a couple monasteries and one ancient stupa erected nearby in which one can make offerings, pray, and light butter lamps. Bouddhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world, and one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage and tourist destinations in Kathmandu. The area of Boudhnath is also famous for over 50 Tibetan Gompas or monasteries. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus all over the world.

Patan Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Swayambhunath, is located in the heart of the city and is also called Monkey Temple by the tourists owing to the large number of monkeys in the temple area. We take our breakfast and head towards the southern part of Kathmandu. Dakshinkali Temple is located within a forest and is dedicated to goddess Dakshinkali who is one of the most important Hindu goddesses. Pilgrims throng the area to visit the temple and offer prayers. Chobhar is known for the Chobhar gorge through which all the water of the valley drains and also for the vast network of natural mountain caves. Pharping has several Buddhist and Hindu monuments, temples and monasteries. Kirtipur is a historic town situated atop a hill of the valley. The historic town has many interesting sights, shrines and temples, old houses, people working on ancient looms, etc. which are all delightful to see.

TIPPING
Tips are appreciated by your support team after the trip. Tips are not mandatory in Nepal but recommended. The amount depends on your budget and appreciation of their work. Where restaurant meals are involved, the tipping is usually 10% of the bill. We would like to request all travelers to give tips separately for driver & guide. Our suggestion is US$ 5 per day by per tourist to driver if same driver is there for whole trip & US$ 10 per day to guide.
VISA
All visitors except the Indian nationals must hold passport and valid visa. Visa can be obtained at the Nepalese diplomatic missions and consulates abroad. Visa is also issued at the entry points. It can be extended at the Department of Immigration, Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Children under 10 years need not pay any visa fee. People willing to get entry Visa at the airport or any of the land entry points are required to fill a visa form with passport photograph. Tourist Visa Extension
* Visa extension fee for 15 days or less is US $ 45 or equivalent convertible currency and visa extension fee for more than 15 days is US$ 3 per day. 5 USD per day as late fine in the case of delay
* Tourist visa can be extended for a maximum period of 150 days in a single visa year (January – December).
Gratis Visa is issued free of cost in case of following categories of Visa applicants:
Children below 10 years (except US citizens)
Up to 30 days for SAARC Citizen (except Afghanistan) visiting Nepal for the first time in a given visa year. Afghan citizens are eligible for Gratis Visa on Arrival only upon the recommendation of Department of Immigration. If you are an Afghan citizen, you can request concerned institution inviting you to Nepal for necessary paperwork with Department of Immigration to get you Gratis Visa ‘On Arrival’.

PASSPORT AND VISAS:
You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for six months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip; please refer to the Trip Notes for details. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.

In case of cancellation by the Traveller, the Agency has the right to charge a percentage cancellation fee according to the following scale:
Up to 30 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 20%
15-29 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 30%
7-14 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 60%
6 or less days until the “Trip Start Day” and in the event of non-appearance a fees of 90%
