4D3N Chisopani-Namo Buddha Trekking

Day 01. Kathmandu-Sundarijal [ Altitude 1350 m]-Chisopani [Altitude 2300 m]
Breakfast; drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal takes approximately an hour and trek from Sunjdarijal to Chisapani takes about four and half hours. The trail will enter through the Shivpuri National Park. The first settlement you will come across is Mulkharka with Tamang habitants. The route heads down the ridge through the forest of oak and rhododendron to Chisopani (2300m.)

Day 02. Chisopani-Nagarkot [Altitude 2200 m]
After breakfast, Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot takes about six and half hours. Your trek starts to Chauki Bhanjag, which takes about 2 and half hours. You continue the charming trails leading you toward Nagarkot. Nagarkot, (2175m) is by far one of the most popular destination. In the clear weather the Himalaya range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe inspiring majesty and beauty

Day 03. Nagarkot-Dhulikhel [Altitude 1500 m]
Early in the morning we will have sunrise view from the hotel. After having breakfast, we start a gentle walk for the first hour and go through the pine forest downhill enjoying the landscapes. Afterwards, we walk through paddy field and small villages which offer us some knowledge about the people and their life style. Approximate walk of five to six hours will take us to Dhulikhel (1440m), an ancient town situated 30 km east of Kathmandu. The Newar town of Dhulikhlel offers a traditional atmosphere along with spectacular views of the Himalayan range - with views of peaks like Dorje Lakpa ( 6966 m), Gauri Shankar ( 7,145 m) and Langtang ( 7,324 m).
 
We can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges from Karyolung in the east to Himalchuli in the west. The old part of this town is an interesting area to wander around with some fine old Nepalese buildings and several interesting temples.

Day 04. Dhulikhel-Namo Buddha [Altitude 2000 m]-Kathmandu
After breakfast at Dhulikhel, we walk to the Namo Buddha (1982m), situated on hill above Panauti. It takes about three hours to reach from Dhulikhel. There is an amazing legend related to the Buddha, which is commemorated by an ancient stone slab and a stupa with the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Later, we drive back to Kathmandu.
